Howdy everyone! My name is Paul Osbourne and I am a food-obsessed traveler dedicated to spreading the joys of cuisines all around the world. I’m 43 years old and I grew up all my life from Grand Rapids, Michigan. However, I rarely stay at home nowadays. Instead, I bounce from hotel to hotel in countries all around the world for the sole purpose of food. In college, I studied finance and was destined to be an accountant at a local office for the rest of my life. Monotonous, dull, tiring, I wasted away years of my youth doing something that I never genuinely enjoyed. That was until I bit the bullet 15 years ago and quit my job to pursue a life of food and travel. In the process, I have become accustomed to many different types of cultures that have helped me grown into the person that I am today. From meeting locals to sightseeing wonders across the world, I’ve been exposed to beautiful life experiences that are worth more than anything. These life experiences motivated me to begin this blog so I can share with you my current adventures and the many different foods that I will try. I believe that diversifying ones view on the world is an important part in shaping someone to be successful. As a result, I wish for this blog to be able to share a snapshot of what it is like traveling to all these different countries all around the world. I understand that many don’t have the time, resources, or finances to travel like I do. So, I hope this blog does its part to fulfill the dreams of those who want to travel the world someday. Currently, I am planning a trip to explore Asia. This includes countries like China, Thailand, Philippines, Japan, Korea, and India. This will be my fourth time exploring through the continent of Asia! One of my favorite things about traveling is meeting the local people and getting to interact with them. I often avoid the “touristy” spots when traveling and instead look towards activities that locals will enjoy. In order for me to fully appreciate a country, I need to be able to immerse myself into the life of someone who lives there. That means living like a local for however long I’m in that country for. This gives me a truly accurate depiction of what it is like living somewhere that is far from home. Overall, I am very excited to get this blog up and running. I can’t wait to share with all of you my daily adventures, foods, and news that is coming from wherever I’m traveling. My ultimate goal is to give my readers a new perspective on how people live while introducing them to new mouthwatering cuisines that they may have never heard of. I hope to provide you all with quality blog posts that you will look forward to reading. I will be spending a lot of time writing these blog posts as well as traveling the world so I hope to provide you all with some interesting content. Look forward to my upcoming blog posts as I travel within the next week! Until next time!
